Personally, over the last 2-3 years I have gotten incredibly selective in my hiring. Gone are the times that I just look for a body to fill a position. I would rather work twice as hard for 2-3 months and find the perfect person than just hire to fill a spot.
Mostly, I am looking for a good culture fit. I have to be able to work with this person every day and still enjoy coming to work. I also have to know that this person is on the team and willing to work together to complete the task at hand, whatever task that may be. If there is a learning curve, I can teach that.…
